A web app that seamlessly incorporates multiple legal and operational processes with a point-and-click user experience

Propel partnered with Capbase in the early stages of product development when the web app was a slightly customized off-the-shelf template.

The design challenge was to present complicated legal decisions in simple terms while avoiding the unlicensed practice of law.

03. What we did

Propel redesigned the portal and the marketing site using a fresh, modern design language that elegantly displays complex data

Most of Capbase's user experience involves filling out and digitally signing complex forms. We had to design a custom system to handle data-dense grids and forms.

The marketing site and new company formation flow were redesigned with the new visual language to create an easy transition during sign-up.

04. Outcomes

Propel successfully implemented the design practice at Capbase, which led to the product launch and acquisition by Deel

During our work with Capbase, we saw their product evolve from an unstyled prototype to a polished, interactive SaaS platform.

Propel was instrumental in creating a product experience that paved the way to the exit when Capbase was fully acquired by Deel.
